Well, we are home...happy and tired. Mia is up from her nap and is munching on Cheerios. Love that!
We are adjusting and Mia is such a wonderfully sweet, laid back baby, she makes it easy.
I apologize to everyone for not post more while in China. Rich and I were both really sick in China, so by the time we got to Guangzhou and the White Swan we were done in. Besides that, there was not really that much room, so we did not even unpack the laptop.
So, if you sent me an email I will try to get thru them quickly now.
Deb,
I saw your comment on the previous post. Sweetie, I am so sorry. We did fly into LA and I would have loved to see you then....I am really sorry for not being able to see you...
I'll post more soon.....
Oh by the way, sleeping in a soft bed for the first time in 2 weeks was awesome.
Watching Mia sleep in the next room is priceless...
Peace and Love to you all...

so very sorry to hear you were both sick, I guess I can't blame you for not wanting to unpack your laptop. So you guys are now home?
Can't wait to see more pictures of Mia.

Dear Jen,
I am so glad that God has blessed you with a wonderful little girl. I know that your Mom is smiling down on you and Rich. I am glad you made it home safely. I can not wait to see more pictures. God Bless.

We missed hearing (reading) the updates while you were in China, but the joy of seeing you home is much greater. Take care of yourself, that is so important. Each day gets better! Glad all is well at home!

Jenny, welcome back. I can't wait to see some updated pics of Mia. Did you get a chance to go to the orphanage? I read that you guys weren't feeling too well while in China so that probably wasn't high up on your list of things to do. Do you know if the opportunity to visit the orphanage is available?
Metonda,
We were told the orphanage was 4 hours away from Nanchang, where we were staying. The impression that we were given, that it wouldnt be advisable to visit, since the orphanage is in a more mountainous region. Honestly I couldn't imagine subjecting the baby to a total of hours in traveling. Believe me GW will keep you more than busy, lol. Maybe too busy...
